This month Victor Hiking Trails will lead a hike in Boughton Park. The Park requires a permit for each vehicle and only a limited number of permits are allowed. Meet in the parking area behind the Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY. Carpool to the Boughton Park entrance on Boughton Road where the hike will start. For those with permits, meet in the Boughton Road parking lot. The hike will start at 9:00 AM and will be 5-7 miles with the opportunity for those that want a shorter hike to go only about half the distance. Much of the terrain will be hilly following single-track trails. The pace will be determined by who comes on the hike. If needed the group may be split into slower and faster components.

Dress appropriately for the weather in layers which makes it easier to take a layer off as you warm up. The trails may be slippery depending on the snow and ice cover. Traction devices for footwear may be needed.

Bring water to stay hydrated and something to snack on as there will be one stop at one of the pavilions.
