Don't miss out: This Upstate NY waterfall trail opens twice a year. Oct. 5 and 6

If you love an Upstate New York waterfall hike, don't sleep on this scenic trail which is only open to the public twice a year.

The Trenton Falls Scenic Trails, about 20 minutes north of Utica in the foothills of the Adirondacks, will be opening for visitors on its final hiking weekend of the year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 6. Parking and admission is free.
