A group of volunteers removed some Japanese Knotweed next to the Nat Fisher bridge today, April 20th.

The volunteer group has decided we have enough interest to meet weekly to work on small projects such as this.

It took a group of 7 less than an hour of work to make this big impact! And we uncovered swap cabbage and bloodroot, both of which are native species that will have a better chance of surviving now that the knotweed isn't crowding them out.
