1.5-mile one way, hilly

June 2008

This footpath joins Dryer Rd. Park, Fort Hill, and Ganondagan. It is 1- to 2-feet wide on a dirt or grass surface. It winds up and down hill, through meadow and woods. At the east end, it connects with the Ganondagan trail system and the Seneca Trail. In the middle, with the Fort Hill trails, including down to the parking lot on Boughton Hill Rd. And in the west, with the trails and parking of Dryer Rd. Park.

The views from Fort Hill alone would make this one of the most spectacular of our trails.

Dryer Park to Ganondagan

Crosses School Rd.

Caution: Bikes share this trail within Dryer Rd. Park

From the parking lot in Dryer Rd. Park, the trail head is up the hill to the right and at the edge of the woods. At the top of the hill, the trail crosses a series of meadows, the last one having several historical markers and the views of the hills to the south. The trail then descends through woods. It opens again on the flat leading out to School Rd. This area will eventually be the site of the visitors center for Ganondagan State Historical Park. The trail continues across School Rd, crosses Great Brook by a ford, connects with the Ganondagan trail system and the Seneca Trail.

Also in Dryer Rd. Park is a whole system of mountain biking trails. Victor Mountain Biking Club (with map).
